I went over this with a bit of an inkwash. I had trouble deciding on whether to keep detailing or to do the rest in color, either Photoshop or watercolor and guoache.
This is one of the coolest pieces I've seen on here. So simple, so rugged, so real. LOVE the way you handled the gian himself...very real, no horns coming out of his head, no crazy light-powered axe, just a deformed big guy. Amazing work. Always a fan mate, keep it up!
Lookin' faaaaaantastic, sir. I think I might push the contrast on the foremost element a little bit. The rocks still stand out at the base, but they're getting similar in shade to the trees behind them. Then again, it's very appealing as it is, too. Hah, I contradict myself in my own crits. That sure is helpful.
I understand what you mean, I think I'll fix it in the coloring stage. Using different Hues should do the trick. I can't wait to see this thing colored.
