So the old guy drives a rascal....and it turns into a vehicle of destruction....um...yeah.......moving on.
This is the intro to a little 8 page short story I started over the summer. I don't know if I'll ever finish it, but basically I drew these as an excuse to pencil, ink, and color my own work...I would love to say that these are the best pages I've ever done, but I see them more as a transition or another step towards where I want to go. My inking is something that needs much improvement, and my understanding of light and color is in progress....and of course I now...looking on these pages after the fact see some errors or some things I would like to fix in my storytelling....but overall....its been good practice. Daily DeviationGiven 2007-10-09"Going through ~bear65's gallery was intense: the storyline's are really well thoughtout, as well as being quite clever. Although this did make it hard to pick just one piece, I think that Rascal of Destruction is an awesome piece to showcase the talent in this gallery. Be sure to check out this artist's latest GI Joe series while you're there!" - Lazybutt (Suggested by `lazybutt and Featured by `misskittyoooo) |

Draw! Draw as though each time you draw you get a +.005 to you score.
I love the fourth panel. When I first looked at it I didn't really like...no I didn't really understand it. I didnt understand why you let the rim lighting over layer over the inking, but now that I've looked at it for some time...I think its an effective technique to dramatize the lighting and mood..it adds a cinematic effect to it too...but yeah good stuff man. good to see artist trying to diversify themselves, keep it up bro.
