I spent a few hours on this. Drew it in a cafe, inked it when I got home... very quickly and very messy. Then took it into photoshop.

The idea here is just to find a way to make art and have fun with it every step of the way. Most work I've done is so labored over, but this was messy and spontaneous.

Trying to have fun the whole way through is my goal.

Inked with brushes, colored in PS.

Got to love that back of the head and neck. All those well done mechanical parts...

Have you done some research about mechanical parts or did you just randomly draw them without thinking how it actually goes, but it still ended up as AWESOME!!

I've done my fair share of reference in the past for mechanical stuff, but not as much as I should.
For this I just tried to give the impression of mechanical stuff, which is really what comics are all about. The impressions of things.
